Herbert is an ecologist with expertise in animal behavior and habitat change responses. He has degrees in Conservation Biology and Zoology, along with a Ph.D. in Fisheries and Wildlife. As a key figure at CSEP, his leadership and collaboration skills are vital for advancing the organization's mission of ecological sustainability and conservation.

Samuel Mutebi

Programs Manager

Samuel, a well-rounded ecologist with expertise in Botany and natural resource management, holds a BS in Conservation Biology, an MS in Botany, and a Wildlife and Natural Resources Management diploma. He's a registered Environment Impact Assessment Practitioner in Uganda and a member of UAIA. Samuel efficiently manages program planning, execution, and evaluation, ensuring program objectives are met and resources are allocated effectively.

Akoth Sisiria

Administrative and finance officer

Sisiria, a wildlife ecologist with a BS and MS from Makerere University, specializes in population dynamics, captive animal management, and animal-environment interactions. She oversees administrative, financial, and compliance functions, ensuring CSEP's operational efficiency.

Jovan Kizito

IT Manager

Jovan, an Information Systems specialist with a BS and postgraduate diploma, enriches CSEP with project management and business process engineering skills. As the Communications and IT specialist, he efficiently coordinates project schedules and manages IT resources.

Muge Julius

Research Assistant

Muge Julius, a research assistant at CSEP, holds a BS degree in Conservation Biology. He plays a key role in our field research efforts, specializing in data collection. Muge's dedication and expertise contribute to our mission of promoting ecological sustainability and conservation through empirical research.

Allan Kakuru

Research Assistant

Allan Kakuru is a dedicated Research Assistant at CSEP. With a Bachelor's in Conservation Biology and ongoing Master's studies at Makerere University, he is a key contributor to our field data collection initiatives. Allan's passion for ecological research drives our efforts to gather critical data for conservation projects.
